Gun Store Where Adam Lanza’s Mother Purchased Firearm Has License Pulled by ATF
No Explanation Given

Apparently a gun store that had absolutely nothing to do with the murderer who took his mother’s legally purchased, legally owned firearms, somehow had something to do with it. At least, that’s what this would imply.

The agency on December 20 revoked the license of Riverview Gun Sales in East Windsor, Connecticut, ATF spokeswoman Debora Seifert said. The revocation was reported in The Journal News, of Westchester County, New York, on Friday.

“We did revoke their federal firearms license,” she said. The agency did not publicly disclose a reason for the closure.

A woman who answered the telephone at Riverview on Friday, and did not give her name, confirmed the store had sold a weapon to Lanza’s mother, Nancy, and that its license had been revoked. She declined further comment.

What is Obama’s ATF up to here? Are they trying to scare other gun stores or create an environment of fear within the firearm industry?

If someone gets a hammer from Walmart and uses it maliciously, doe Walmart have its license yanked for selling hammers? I know there probably isn’t  hammer license, of course, but you get the point.

More explanation is needed here. On the surface this sounds like bully tactics and if that is the case this is an outrage.
